Sitting in a diagnostics class my instructor was going on about a gizmo he built that seperates the lines so a clamp meter can be effictively used. He claims he built this doo-hickey for about $25. I thought thats great as I pulled this out of my tool bag. It is way smaller and does not look like some hill-billy made it in his shed. My instructor thought it was nice then asked "what did this fancy thing set you back?" When I told him about $12 everyone was impressed, including him. I have used it a few times in the field and in class to complete assignments but it is way easier than disconnecting and jumping hard-wired equipment that had 2/3c wrapped in the case. Not something I figure I'll use every day but well worth the investment.
