One reviewer said it was rather flimsy, but works. It may not fit the needs of a professional, but for the home owner, it works well. I agree (although maybe it is not that flimsy). You MUST follow directions - move the device in the up and down arrow directions. The arrows are located at the tip of the device. If you do not, the device will not locate the circuit breaker accurately. I purchased this device with the error light transmitter because I am replacing all my plugs with tamper proof receptacles and they do not work well with voltmeters. I want to be able to verify that these plugs are working properly. I am satisfied with this product, although you must play around with the sensitivity adjustment to correctly locate the circuit breaker. Be patient. It will work.
